Ello Creeper...A/S/L?

I can't find one decent friend here.Well the thing is, I've never been the type of girl who has 25 best friends. Socially, I could very well be classified as a hermit but I feel I have my reasons. I moved to Tallahassee almost 2 yrs ago and not one solid friend has been by my side, except my lovely boyfriend whom is my best friend/soul mate.

But you know what I mean right?

Time out... I laugh to myself b/c I speak to this blog as if someone is actually reading, time in....

Sometimes its just nice to have some girl time. My best friend in the whole world lives about 976 miles away from me (not that I'm counting or anything) and not only is she my best friend but also my sister. We talk everyday and skype every other day but that does not seem to be enough.

In some ways we are complete opposites for example: while she was in a sorority I was doodling love poems on my dirty converse; she lives in a big city with a population of 2,851,268 and I live in a small city with the population of 6,765 etc. Regardless of our differences she is the sketti to my meatball, chocolate to my heart, peanut butter to my fluff, key to my heart and I'd simply crumble without her. I could go on but I rather focus on the point I am trying to make here, I need more friends.

So I"m curious...does anyone else wish there was an EHarmony for friend matching? Or is just me? Go on, I'll wait...

Pumpkin lovin'

Yesterday I didn't get much done with the costume. The corsets that my sister ordered didn't show up yet so, hopefully they will be here today. Usually, we have problems sending packages to our house. It's not like we live in Harlem or anything, it's actually a cute little old town.

Here's the "White House" in downtown...

Yesterday we had a long day of work, needless to say we were tuckered out by the time we got home. But last weekend we were thrilled when we saw a cute pumpkin patch on the side of the road.We searched for the best pumpkins there, picked out two then headed home.

All we could do was wait until it was close enough to Halloween, since it was too early to carve the pumpkins. Then on Friday while swinging on our porch swing a wretched stench hit me like a brick wall! My beautiful huge pumpkin had rotted and had to be thrown away. I was bummed because not only was it a great pumpkin but I paid a pretty penny for it as well. Later that night Travie took me to Walmart to be a cute and much cheaper pumpkin. Finally on Saturday night we decided to carve our pumpkins.

Of course Travie's turned out to be amazing :D

Our pups kept running by while we "gutted" the pumpkins, trying to get a taste of them. All in all it was a fun time. We love Halloween!!

:o)

Cupcakes, Candies, Ice Cream, FABOOSH!

On Thursday my sister asked me if I could help her with her Halloween costume and of course I jumped to the opportunity. Mainly because it involved over sized sweets & treats but also that my sister is my best friend :o)

So right after work Travie picked me up and we were off to Micheal's for the supplies. Travie usually dreads going to Micheal's with me but he got lost in the Halloween decorations while I hunted for all of the right stuff.

Here is the picture I got the inspiration from...

After playing in Micheal's for over an hour, we finally made it home. I took the pups out, fed them, locked the jeddia gate (puppy gate) and sat down to start making the accessories for the costume.

I started with the ice cream cone then the little hard candies. After facetiming with Soggies (sister) a million times, I was too concentrated to stop and take a lot of photos although I did capture a couple...

I'll try and upload more pictures soon!
